We are inviting parents, students, faculty, and community members to join our Food Service Management Company (FSMC) Advisory Committee meeting. School meals are a key part of our students’ day, and your feedback helps shape:

      • Menus and meal quality
      • Student participation in the National School Lunch Program
      • Nutrition education and promotion
      • How we serve students with different needs and preferences

Who should attend?

      • Parents/guardians who want a voice in school meals
      • Students who have opinions about breakfast and lunch
      • Teachers and staff who see what’s working in the cafeterias
      • Community members interested in child nutrition and wellness
  • Next Meeting: April 30, 2026, 6:30pm.
  • Agenda: If you want to have a direct impact on the menu, this is your chance! Great Hearts will be conducting a Request for Proposal (RFP) for food service for the 2027-2028 through 2031-2032 school years. We are required to create a 21-day breakfast and lunch menu as a basis for the food we expect the vendor to serve. This meeting is to create those menus. While we will not use the specific 21-day menu for the 2026-2027 school year, feedback gathered during this meeting will be used when creating the menus for the coming school year.
