Free & Reduced Meal Program

 

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Congress authorized spending that allowed schools to serve free meals for all students. Those funds are not authorized to continue for the 2022-2023 school year. As a result, Great Hearts campuses must return to charging for school meals and offering free and reduced-price meals based on student eligibility. Families are encouraged to complete the Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals.

We want all students to have access to good, nutritious food. As part of the meal program, we participate the Free & Reduced Meals Program through the Texas Department of Agriculture. Applying is easy and available to all students. You will need your student’s school ID Number, which you can request from your campus Registrar.

(If you cannot apply online, paper applications are available upon request at your campus front desk or by emailing Meals@GreatHeartsTX.org. Paper forms can be submitted by returning them to the front desk or by scanning and emailing them to Meals@GreatHeartsTX.org.)
