Free and Reduced Meals
Free & Reduced Meal Program
We want all students to have access to good, nutritious food. As part of the meal program, we participate the Free & Reduced Meals (FRL) Program through the United States Department of Agriculture. Applying is easy and available to all students. You will need your student’s school ID Number, which you can request from your campus Registrar.
Students must requalify for benefits every year.
Applications can be completed at any time during the school year and are effective from the date of submission until thirty (30) days into the next school year (to give guardians time to renew). If determined to be eligible, children can receive one (1) regular breakfast meal and one (1) regular lunch meal each at a free or reduced rate (depending on eligibility level). A breakfast “meal” consists of a fruit or vegetable, plus two more items. A lunch “meal” consists of items from at least 3 of the following components: protein, grain, vegetable, fruit, and milk. One of the components must be a fruit or vegetable.
Reduced Price students can receive Breakfast meals at no cost for the 2024-2025 school year! The cost for a reduced price lunch is $0.40.
Any extra entrées or sides, incomplete meals, second meals, or a la carte purchases (milk only, cookies, chips, etc.) are charged at the full price rate, no matter the student’s eligibility.

Please note, your eligibility letter will be sent to the email that you have entered on your application. For your privacy, it will be a generic email from “Titan School Solutions” and your eligibility letter will be an attached PDF. To see an example, click here: Sample Eligibility Letter Image
(If you cannot apply online, paper applications are available upon request at your campus front desk or by emailing Meals@GreatHeartsTXSchools.org. Paper forms can be submitted by returning them to the front desk or by scanning and emailing them to Meals@GreatHeartsTXSchools.org.)
