The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the management of all Great Hearts Texas schools. They are charged with ensuring that the district and individual schools meet the educational needs of Great Hearts Texas’ students in accordance with its charter, Texas state laws, and regulations. The duties of the Board of Directors include but are not limited to:
• Determining the budget and overseeing financial management
• Hiring and evaluating the Superintendent
• Monitoring student performance and addressing faculty and staff needs
• Approving the school's curriculum and instruction program
• Final authority to hear or decide employee grievances, citizen complaints or parental concerns
