Child Find: Locating Children with Disabilities

Great Hearts Texas conducts ongoing Child Find activities to identify, locate, and evaluate all children within our academies’ jurisdiction who may have a disability and need special education and related services. This includes children who are enrolled in our academies as well as those who are homeschooled, parentally placed in private school, highly mobile, migrant, or experiencing homelessness.

If you believe your child may need special education services, please contact your academy’s front office or special education coordinator to request an evaluation. You may also review the state’s Child Find public awareness materials below.
